Glenn Houston joined RQIA as Chief Executive in March 2009.  Before taking up this appointment Glenn was Director of Women's and Children's Services and Executive Director of Social Work in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.  He has over 30 years experience working in health and social care services in Northern Ireland, and was also Chief Executive of the former Craigavon and Banbridge Community Trust.

Maurice Atkinson joined RQIA in October 2008 as Director of Corporate Services.  He previously worked as Head of Information Services at the Southern Health and Social Services Board, and has held various management positions in health and social services for over 15 years.

Theresa Nixon joined RQIA in October 2005 and is Director of Mental Health and Learning Disability and Social Work. Theresa has a wide range of experience in social work. Prior to joining RQIA she was Deputy Director of Children and Family Services in the Eastern Health and Social Services Board.

 

Phelim Quinn joined RQIA in October 2005 and is the Director of Regulation and Nursing. His career background in nursing includes working within mental health, general adult nursing, health visiting, professional trade unionism, management and commissioning.

David Stewart joined RQIA in November 2007. Dr Stewart is Director of Reviews and Medical Director.  From 1995, Dr Stewart was  Director of Public Health at the Eastern Health and Social Services Board.
