A number of commissioned reviews have been conducted by RQIA. These include RQIA's Independent Review into the Outbreak of Clostridium difficile at the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

Others include a review of intravenous sedation in general dental practice; Reducing the risk of hyponatraemia when administering intravenous infusions to children; a Review of assessment and management of risk in adult mental health services in Northern Ireland's health and social care trusts; a Review into the lessons arising from the death of Mrs Janine Murtagh; and a Governance review of the Northern Ireland Breast Screening Programme. Governance Reviews

The RQIA has published its reviews of clinical and social care governance arrangements in health and social care boards, trusts and agencies across Northern Ireland.
