RQIA has a role in assuring the quality of services provided by health and social services boards, trusts and agencies.  We carry this work out through a series of clinical and social care governance reviews.

We also regulate a wide range of health and social care services delivered by both statutory and independent bodies.  Through our inspections of service we ensure that every aspect of care reaches the required standards.

Lay reviewers play a vital role in this work, bringing new insights and helping health professionals look at how things are done from  a lay perspective.

We are currently recruiting volunteer Lay Reviewers to join our teams.

To find out more, or to request an application pack, please contact Roisin Kelly, RQIA Public Participation Manager or call 028 9051 7500.
