Patient is examined by RMO within 2 months of the end of the second 1 year period

The RMO must examine the patient within 2 months of the expiry of the first 1-year detention period (this will in fact be within 2 years of the total period beginning with the initial date of admission) to consider whether the patient still meets the criteria for detention for treatment.
