Conditions on Registration:

Apodi Healthcare Limited, 30 June 2022: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA eight weeks prior to the date the service is proposing to become operational.

Alpha24 Healthcare, 02 October 2024: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA eight weeks prior to the date the service is proposing to become operational.

Arbour House, 07 December 2021: There are to be no admissions to the home without the prior approval of RQIA.

Angels Recruitment Agency Ltd. (Nursing Agency), 28 May 2019: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Belfast HSC Trust Children’s Service, 19 December 2023: As a result of risks associated with the premises, staffing and some weaknesses in the leadership and governance arrangements at a service operated by the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, RQIA has taken action to refuse an application to vary the registration of a Children’s Home to include an extension to the premises.  RQIA determined the work associated with the additional premises and care responsibilities would have a detrimental impact on the care of the children living in the Children’s Home.

In line with RQIA’s current policy, reports of inspections at Children’s Services are not published.  Following a recent Public Consultation on this matter, RQIA is in the process of piloting the publication of reports. Details of this can be found on our website here.

Career Locum Group, 14 June 2024: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Camlo Homes (Residential Care Home), 02 April 2021: The Responsible Person must ensure that a manager is appointed who satisfies the requirements for registration with RQIA as soon as reasonably practicable. This will be kept under review by RQIA. 

Desart Mews, 30 April 2024: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Fortview (Residential Care Home), 19 November 2019: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Glen Caring Services, 24 March 2023: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Glenalina Lodge Care Centre, 22 December 2022: The conditions on registration requires the registered provider to: 1. cease admissions until RQIA are assured that the
risk from legionella bacteria in the premises’ hot and cold water systems is suitably
controlled; 2. provide RQIA with updated sampling results on receipt of same and at least monthly progress report on progress with implementation of remedial actions.

iCare24 Limited, 29 May 2024: The Nursing Agency must not become operational without prior approval by RQIA. The Agency must notify RQIA eight weeks prior to the date the service is proposing to become operational. In addition, this Nursing Agency must become operational no later than 31 October 2024 otherwise as agreed, the Responsible Individual will immediately submit an application to RQIA in respect of voluntarily deregistering this service.

Jordan Dental Care, 22 March 2021: Dental care and treatment using advanced sedation techniques cannot be undertaken in Jordan Dental Care without the prior written authority of the RQIA.

Markethill Manor, 20 March 2024: The following condition on registration has been added: There are to be no admissions to the home without the prior approval of RQIA.

Peniel Nursing Care Services on 08 April 2019: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Pine Lodge (Residential Care Home) on 26 November 2019: The condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.

Premium Care Solutions Limited (Nursing Agency) on 04 February 2025: Te condition on registration requires the registered provider to notify RQIA when they are proposing to become operational.  This Nursing Agency must also notify RQIA eight weeks prior to the date the service is proposing to become operational.

Cancellation of Registration:

Belfast HSC Trust Children’s Service, 20 June 2022: As a result of a serious risk to the care and safety of residents and staff at a service operated by the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust area, RQIA commenced enforcement action to cancel its registration. Carn-vaddy, on 11 June 2021: RQIA has cancelled the registration of the Responsible Individual of Carn-Vaddy.

Divine Health Services, on 5 August 2022: RQIA has cancelled the registration of this service.

Excelsior Healthcare Solutions, 29 January 2024: RQIA has cancelled the registration of this service.

The Court Care Home, on 15 October 2021: RQIA has cancelled the registration of Model Group (NI) Limited in respect of The Court Care Home.

Gosna Care Agency Ltd., on Wednesday 23 October 2019: RQIA has cancelled the registration of the Registered Person of Gosna Care Agency with immediate effect.

Majestik Care Agency, 14 July 2023: RQIA cancelled the registration of Majestik Care Agency.

Praxis Care Children’s Service (South Eastern HSC Trust area): As a result of a serious risk to the health and wellbeing of a number of children living at a service operated by Praxis Care  in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust area, on 3 March 2021, RQIA made a  successful application to a justice of the peace for an order to cancel its registration.  For further information, read our statement here. 

Top Class Healthcare: RQIA cancelled the registration of this service on 8 July 2022. 

Western HSC Trust Children’s Service, 20 December 2024: Following an inspection of a Western HSC Trust Children’s Service on 5 September 2024, RQIA commenced enforcement action to close this service as a result of risks associated with the model of care, safeguarding arrangements, restrictive practices and the physical environment. This enforcement action took effect on 20 December 2024.
