RQIA is a non-departmental public body of the Department of Health in Northern Ireland. Our board, consisting of thirteen members, led by Chairman - Dr Alan Lennon OBE, is responsible to the Health Minister.
Olive Macleod, RQIA's Chief Executive, is responsible to the RQIA Board through the Chairman for managing the organisation, and in her role as Accounting Officer reports to the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Health.
