Draft Corporate Strategy 2017-2021 - Consultation Closed on 22 March 2017
RQIA has developed a draft Corporate Strategy for the period 2017-2021, which has been approved for public consultation by RQIA’s Board. This draft strategy takes account of initial engagement with stakeholders, the vision set out by the Minister of Health in Health and Wellbeing 2026: Delivering Together (Department of Health, 2016) and the Draft Programme for Government Framework 2016–21, within the context of financial constraints and HSC reform and restructuring.
We would encourage you to read the draft Corporate Strategy 2017-21 and respond to our public consultation which runs for a 8 week period, from 25 January to 22 March 2017. You can also read the Equality and Human Rights Screening template associated with the strategy.
We held two consultation workshops in Newtownabbey and Derry / Londonderry to support the development of our Corporate Strategy 2017-21. The purpose of these events was to hear what you thought RQIA’s priorities should be for the next four years.
If you require further information or have any queries on this consultation, please contact Stuart Crawford (028) 9051 7500, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Consultation on RQIA's Revised Inspection Policy for Regulated Services, 2016 (Closed)
As part of a programme of ongoing improvement activities at RQIA, we have revised our inspection policy for regulated services. We have developed an assessment framework and a revised report format, which we plan to introduce following feedback from stakeholders, through public consultation. The consultation period opens on Tuesday 1 March and concluded on Friday 29 April 2016.
We are seeking your views on our proposal to inspect and report on the quality of leadership within regulated services, and how we report our assessment of: Is care safe, effective and compassionate?, and Is the service well-led?
We believe that these proposed changes will improve our inspection processes and have a positive impact on outcomes for service users.
We invite you to read our consultation document, and we would encourage you to complete the short online response questionnaire.
If you wish to request a copy of the consultation document, require further information, or have a query on this consultation, please email email@example.com, or telephone Kate at (028) 9051 7591.
